This year's Robert Friedrichs prize in Sociology was awarded to Joshua Wakeham, whose senior thesis From Saving the Wayward to Treating the Disturbed: The Social Transformation of Berkshire Farm earned him highest departmental honors.
	Two seniors shared this year's James Orton Prize in Anthropology, Austin Duncan (left, above) and Brian Burke.

Darci Powell, a sociology major, was awarded departmental honors for her senior thesis, The Southern Baptist Denominationd ivided: Exploring the Culture Wars Thesis.
