Accessing Redshift Over the Network:

1. Drag down the apple menu on the Mac desktop and select the Chooser.
2. Click the AppleShare icon and select the Williams zone.
3. A list of machines will appear in the right-hand box; select FINSE2.
4. For the user name, type in REDSHIFT; there is no password.
5. A box with a scrollbar will appear; scroll down and select REDSHIFT2.
6. A Redshift2 icon should appear on your desktop; select Redshift 2.0 to start the program

Remember that Redshift starts up by default at Lat 0 Long 0. To set the sky for Williamstown, go under Controls to Set Location and enter the latitude and longitude for Williamstown (42 d 42 m 42 s N, 73 d 12 m 02 s W).
