Prof. Pasachoff has written a set of six lessons on how to use the RedShift CD-ROM, a planetarium program that displays the positions of stars, galaxies, solar-system objects, and so on, as well as provides views of the surfaces of solar-system objects. Many astronomical concepts can be taught with it.

Saunders has published "The RedShift Astronomy Workbook" by Bill D. Walker, ISBN 003-024-573-7. It is available for class adoptions and complimentary review copies are available for potential adopters. It contains instructions on how to use RedShift and exercises for students.
