THEA 403(S): Advanced Performance Ensemble

The students in the class will comprise an advanced ensemble of actors who will collaborate to create a theatre piece of their own devising. The emphasis will be creative process and imaginative collaboration. Public presentation of the work may or may not result, depending on the status of the work at semester's end.
Evaluation: The course is primarily an acting class, and evaluation will conform with standard departmental procedures for courses of this type, including assessment of participation in exercises, collaborative assignments, feedback sessions and in-class presentation.
Prerequisites: Theatre 306 and permission of instructor. Enrollmeent limit: 12.
This course may count as one of the "five courses from Theatre Department offerings" required toward the major.
