PSYC 401(F) Perspectives on Psychological Issues
This course considers controversial psychological topics of both historical and
current import from diverse psychological perspectives. The course is centered
around student-led discussions within sections and in debates between sections.
The topics considered for 2006 are self-deception, the nature of intelligence, and
intimate relationships.
Format: seminar. Requirements: participation in class discussions and debates
and three short position papers.
No enrollment limit (expected: 15 per section). This course is required of all senior Psychology majors.
