28: “Academics, Intellectualism & Activism: Forging an Identity for Black/Africana Studies” with Ted Gordon, anthropologist and Director of the Center for African and African American Studies, UT-Austin. This dialogue will focus on the implications for Africana Studies at Williams College. 4:00 p.m. in the Faculty House Living Room. Open to students, faculty and staff.

29: "Policing the Black Body," Roundtable discsussions with distinguished African American Studies, Anthropology, and Performing Arts faculty from Wesleyan, UC-Irvine, UT-Austin, and Williams.
