Students Learning from Faculty - The Stetson-Sawyer Project

How do faculty contribute to the intellectual vibrancy of Williams? Leyla Rouhi, Chair of Romance Languages and Associate Professor of Spanish, shares her thoughts.

Our curricular initiatives and the attendant increase in faculty will require dramatically renovated spaces for teaching, research and collaborative learning, as well as a renewal of our library facilities. Two significant pieces of this puzzle--Stetson Hall and Sawyer Library--play a shared role in support of the humanities and social sciences. Our goal is to create an efficient, intelligent and inviting facility that will encourage interaction among students and professors across academic disciplines. The College has chosen Bohlin Cywinski Jackson as architects for the project.
