Students Learning from Faculty - '62 Center for Theatre and Dance

In April 2003 Williams broke ground for the '62 Center for Theatre and Dance, named to honor the Class of 1962. Designed by William Rawn, architect of the Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood, this state-of-the-art facility will challenge students and faculty in theatre and dance to experiment, collaborate and create performances as brilliant as their imaginations. The center also will accommodate leading professional dance and theatre troupes, further enriching the cultural life of Williams and the wider region. Generous gifts have provided a large portion of the funding required to build the center, but additional gifts are needed to underwrite the total budget before the curtain goes up in 2005. To see details about the center, visit http://www.williams.edu/go/strategicplanning/bldgprojects/theatredance/.

Gifts to the Alumni Fund and Parents Fund support all projects of the Campaign for Williams. Or, if you'd like to make a capital or endowed gift to help sponsor this particular initiative, please contact Pam Besnard, director of major gifts, at 413.597.4248.
