READ THIS FIRST! This guide from World Privacy Forum to online job sites is a list of the top job searching sites online. This list gives information about the privacy practices at each site. Because resumes contain such detailed personal and professional information, it is well worth caring about how job search sites handle privacy issues. This guide is updated monthly, and we add new information to the guide monthly. Very useful information is also included, such as resume privacy posting tips, how to say no to cookies that track you, and how to avoid fake jobs & scams.

• CollegeJobBank "...find entry level jobs, post your resume, and get noticed by top employers. In addition to providing the best jobs for college students and recent graduates, we also offer career resources to help improve your college resume, get interviewing tips, access continuing education information and more." Over 150,000 new jobs posted in the last two weeks.
• CreativeJobsCentral "is the world's largest resource" for jobs and internships within the competitive world of creative industries. Hundreds of opportunities are posted daily for jobs and internships in fashion, music, photography, event planning, interior design, makeup, modeling, marketing, advertising, entertainment, and public relations. THEY CHARGE A FEE.
• Doostang Founded in 2005, this invite-only site has 250,000 users, and targets 20- to-35-years-olds in the country's top schools and companies to help them find each other and new jobs. It's heavy on high-end finance jobs at such firms as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and McKinsey. MTV, Apple, eBay, and ABC have also recently hired Doostang members. From Time Magazine, "Doostang.com - An invitation-only career-networking site; aims to be a Facebook for the Morgan Stanley crowd."
• "Hound gathers jobs from employer websites and consolidates them on our site. All of the positions on Hound are 'direct' from employers. Our site is well known and has been ranked by many publications as among the most effective job sites in the United States. Since we post jobs that we go out and locate through research and not just jobs that organizations pay to post (like Monster, Indeed, SimplyHired and so forth), we charge a monthly fee to access our site (currently $29.95)." Check your Route 2 home page for an access code to use Hound free until the end of 2011.
• Indeed.com A meta-search job site that pulls postings from over 500 places, including the major job boards,the top 200 newspapers, hundreds of professional associations, and company career centers. You can search for jobs by title, keywords, company, and/or location.
• Intern Inc. contains a large pool of businesses (including Fortune 500 companies) that are always looking for interns. Access is easy, just sign up.

• Juju makes web-based job listings more accessible with more relevant search results. They state that their job search engine provides quick access to jobs found on thousands of employer websites and job boards all around the web and offers features that will help you find the jobs you're looking for more efficiently."
• JustMeans "... the first social media platform that helps people and organizations connect to create value beyond the bottom line. We provide news, jobs, and networks for people who create change." Registration is free.
• Job Search at TheLadders.com "is the world's leading online service catering exclusively to the $100k+ job market." They charge for unlimited access but you can gain limited access to jobs and a weekly newsletter for free. Also, take advantage of free resume writing tips and career advice.
• Linkedin has a new job search site for students and recent graduates.
• LinkUp is a job search engine that pulls jobs from over 20,000 company websites. The jobs are "always current", "often unadvertised", and "never fake".
• Mass Stay Here Internships Site - The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has launched a Mass Stay Here Internships Site as a comprehensive statewide internship resource that will highlight and increase internship opportunities for students.
  Nearly 200 internships have already been posted to the site from top-notch Massachusetts companies such as iRobot, Karmaloop, Endeca, Big Belly Solar, The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, The Museum of Science, 451 Marketing, Solomon McCown, Communispace, Vistaprint, Organogenesis, and Scvngr. In addition, the Mass Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC) and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce (Boston Chamber) are creating internship sites on the same platform for their member companies, and all internships posted to the MassTLC and Boston Chamber sites will appear on the Mass Stay Here Internships site.
• oDesk is a marketplace for online workteams. They offer over 10,000 job opportunities every month as well as free online certifications in over 200 different skills. Once you're working on the network, they provide guaranteed payment for your work. It's a great way to gain income and work experience.
• One Day, One Job—"One Day, One Job is a blog about entry-level jobs. Every day we take a look at one employer and the jobs that they are offering for recent college graduates. We scour both online and offline media for information on jobs that you may never think to look for.
  Our job postings are an example for how you can use the Internet to find great information about exciting jobs. We occasionally write articles that go into further detail about the methods we use to find the jobs we write about. One Day, One Job is not only a resource for finding great jobs, but it is also a lesson in how to find meaningful work."
• SimplyHired searches 5 million jobs in one place. This site has a search tool for new college graduates. You can set up your account to search, save, and map jobs and have them emailed to you automatically. AppAppeal review of SimplyHired.
