Short Network Outage on Friday 11/16/2012 affecting some building OIT will be updating three distribution switches at approximately 6:00 PM on Friday evening, 11/16/2012. The following buildings/locations involved are: Williams Mears Park Street Sage CTD Clark Art Hopkins Southworth Thompson Catherdral Williamstown Elementary School Weston Field Routine maintenance is performed on Friday evenings starting between 5:30pm and 7:30pm per an ITC (Information Technology Committee) decision. It was determined that this time period would cause minimal disruption in user schedules while allowing OIT to perform work while vendor support is available if needed. As always, if this schedule will impose specific major difficulties on your own work, please let me know as soon as possible so I can look into the possibility of rescheduling the systems work.
