Rakwe - opening reception this Friday
Join us for the opening of Rakwe, a salon inspired by 1950s
Cairo, the music of Um Kalthoum, and the beauty of gathering.
Friday 7 - 10 pm. (Rakwe is located at 42 Moorland Street, a
three-minute walk from Dodd.)

Join us for the opening of Rakwe, a salon inspired by 1950s Cairo, the
music of Um Kalthoum, and the beauty of gathering.
We will celebrate with imported Arab coffee, traditional meze, and artisan
shisha, as well as a performance by Um Kalthoum, framed alongside the work
of local artists.

Guests are asked to contribute 5 dollars towards the event. Any remaining
funds are given to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund.
