Message details:
Summer Travel Fellowships applications and letters of support are due to
the Office of Fellowships on February 15th.
Applications and letters for the Wilmers Summer Language Study Fellowship
are due March 1st.
All applications require only one letter of recommendation this year. The
letter should be emailed to Lynn Chick (mchick@williams.edu), or sent in
hard copy to the Office of Fellowships, Hopkins Hall, 2nd Floor. It is
important that the letter address the student's proposed project.
Travel & Research Fellowships (World, Wilmers, Lawrence, Bostert) - Due
date Feb 15
Independent travel and study; Requires detailed proposal and budget;
Minimum of 6 weeks; Sophomores and juniors are eligible. Bostert can be
used for travel in the US. Lawrence can sponsor non-academic projects.
International Service Projects Fellowships - NEW THIS YEAR! - Due date Feb
15.
Project must take place outside the US and can be independent or
affiliated with an organization. Sophomores and juniors are eligible;
Application requires detailed proposal and budget; Project must be minimum
of 6 weeks.
Levien Fellowship in Journalism - Due date Feb 15
Independent journalism project in any field, Minimum of 8 weeks;
Sophomores and Juniors are eligible.
Wilmers Language Grant - Due date March 1
Supports formal study of a language in a country where the language is
spoken, program must be at least 4 weeks; First-Years, Sophomores and
Juniors are eligible; Each grant is $5000.
