Roshan does well -- it's one of the country's most profitable companies --and does good, investing in a variety of social programs that have improved the lives of millions of Afghan citizens. Each year, Roshan offers several summer internship opportunities at its corporate headquarters in Kabul. The deadline for internship applications is Friday, March 8, 2013. Two Williams alumni interned at Roshan last summer, Nick Pugliese '12 and Erik Anderson '12. Both had great experiences and Nick stayed on as a regular employee. More than forty students have served as Roshan interns, including students from Harvard, Babson, Cornell, Columbia, and MIT. Nearly half of Roshan's interns have stayed on at Roshan, accepting full-time positions. Intern safety is a top priority for Roshan's leaders and to date not a single Roshan intern has had any problems.
