Koney is a Williams Alum and currently a Managing Director at
Jennison Associates, an investment fund with $150bn in assets
under management. He will be talking about his experiences in the
business world and his experience of being an Afropolitan. 4.15pm

Speakers Full Bio:
Owuraka Koney is a Managing Director at Jennison Associates, an investment
fund with $150bn in assets under management. He is an equity research
analyst covering the industrials and media & entertainment sectors. Prior
to Jennison, Owuraka worked as a research associate at UBS Investment Bank
in the aerospace & defense group. He also worked in the fixed income energy
and small cap equity satellite & entertainment teams in the graduate
training program. He is a member of the New York Society of Security
Analysts and CFA Institute.
Owuraka was born in Ghana and has lived in Banjul and New York. He was the
president of WASO for two years while at Williams College and since
graduating has served on the board of the United Nations Association
African Affairs group and has been involved with the International Crisis
Group. He majored in economics and political science at Williams College
and currently lives in New York with his wife, a fellow Eph.
