How to Apply

We encourage applications from undergraduate students of all majors from accredited four-year institutions. Each semester students from 12 to 14 different colleges representing up to 15 majors attend Williams-Mystic. Sophomores, juniors and seniors may attend. No previous sailing experience is necessary, but we seek students who are eager for new experiences and who look forward to studying in a compelling academic environment.

Applying

Please Submit:

•Your completed application
•Contact information for three references: two academic and one volunteer/employment
•A copy of your official college transcript
•A personal statement
•A short writing sample from any class you've taken
•$45 application fee, payable to Williams-Mystic

Please note that Williams-Mystic operates on a rolling admissions basis. We recommend that you submit your application as early as possible for Fall 2012 or Spring 2013.

Arranging an Interview

Please contact us to arrange your admission interview. We'd prefer to interview you in person so that you have a first-hand view of Williams-Mystic. If this is not feasible, telephone and alumni interviews can be arranged. Interviews may be scheduled Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.

We host open houses on our campus in Mystic in the fall and spring, which you are encouraged to attend. Interviews are available during an open house as well.
