Intersection for the Arts was founded in San Francisco in the 1960s with an emphasize on the process of making art, and a commitment to use art to provide new solutions to community concerns. Programming includes gallery exhibitions, plays, concerts, readings, workshops, community forums, and a Resident Artist program.
