F1 International TradeThe Williams College Economics Department is seeking to make a tenure-track appointment beginning fall of 2010, and we invite applications. We are particularly interested in talented researchers and teachers in the specific sub-fields mentioned above, but we will actively consider highly qualified candidates in all fields. Scholars whose research focuses on East Asia are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a Ph.D. completed, or expect to complete their Ph.D., by September 2010. We welcome applications from those seeking positions at the advanced assistant professor level. Williams College is a highly selective institution, ranked as the top liberal arts college by US News and World Report. We are a department of active scholars (http://www.williams.edu/Economics) and currently have 25 tenured or tenure-track faculty members. In addition to our undergraduate program we operate and staff the Center for Development Economics (http://www.williams.edu/cde) offering an MA in Policy Economics.
