Your course grade will be determined on the basis of class attendance and performance on several announced quizzes and performance on the course projects.  All quizzes will be comprehensive in nature.  In determining the course grade, each quiz grade will be weighted equally,  and an average score of 70 will be required in order to receive a passing course grade.  In addition a passing grade on the course project will be required in order to receive a passing course grade.  An unexcused absence from class may be harmful to your course grade.
