Message:
Food for Thought Fridays: Kane's Record editorial Do you have a reaction to alumni David Kane's editorial in the Record? What does it mean to be "the best"? Come talk about it. Today, Friday, 9/22, noon-1:00 p.m., Paresky 201 MORE: http://web.williams.edu/messages/show.php?id=43718 from Marlene Sandstrom, Dean of the College
Message details:
Every week, Integrative Wellbeing sponsors Food for Thought Fridays--an opportunity to talk about important issues on campus and beyond. It's a space to discuss the effects of divisive news, ongoing oppression, and tensions, even in our own community, and consider effective ways to respond. This week's session was previously planned to focus on Race Relations on Campus and Beyond--A Collaborative Dialogue. Tomorrow's event offers a wonderful opportunity to discuss our reactions to Kane's op-ed piece. Students, faculty, and staff are all welcome. Bring your lunch and engage in discussions of substance and impact. This event is co-sponsored by Integrative Wellbeing Services, The Davis Center, the Chaplain's Office, the Dean's Office, and the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid. We can be the change we seek. Please join us: your voice matters! Friday, 9/22, noon-1:00 p.m., Paresky 201
