LATEX TEMPLATES:

• Papers: A tex template is available here: template.tex    template.pdf; you will need the following image yl.eps.
• Slides (Beamer): zipped talk on Benford's law (includes .eps files), zipped talk on sabermetrics (includes .eps files).
• Slides for poster presentations: zipped files for: (1) highly palindromic matrices; (2) Benford's law; (3) Zeckendorf decompositions. Note there are almost surely more files included in these zipped files than you need.

  • The above are all just nice interfaces for editing TeX files, so you need to install the TeX compiler. Just follow the documentation in the links, each interface has a button here or there to tell you how to download and install the compilers. See also the webpage here for a free TeX editor.
  • Another option is WinEDT, though this is not free (you'll also probably have to download MiKTeX as well).
