Mathematically intelligible, revealing lawfulness and the faithfulness of God: God is not capricious

Vastly various, inspiring humility, revealing tthe sovereignty of God: we are not God, nor are idols we may choose

Responsive, revealing responsibility and judgment: what we do has eternal consequences

Unpredicatble, revealing contingency:only God is worthy of ultimate trust

Relational, inspiring community, calling us to be a people of God: we develop spiritually within communities

Interdependent, inspiring compassion, calling us to mission: we are called to compassion as religious opportunity

Ultimately futile, revealing the need to look beyond the material world for ultimate meaning and hope, inspiring faith: science is a way of seeing; faith is a way of seeing beyond such seeing
